Origins / A Perfect World Antioxidant Cleanser Review

Well, I'm not in the best of conditions right now to do anything at all, so why not make the best of my blog and actually write something?

If you know me in real life, you'll know how much I love to buy and use facewash. I've used many different types out there and most of them have treated me well (and some really harsh!). Now, I don't want to write a long blog so I won't beat around the bush and go straight to the product:

So I recently just bought this Origins "A Perfect World" facewash for $21 because I wanted to try something that was more on the natural side and didn't contain too many artifical ingredients (although it does contain one or a few gentle non-harmful sulfates) as well as something that would actually help improve my skin. This one in particular has their key ingredient, the Silver Tip White Tea, which is basically a really powerful anti-oxidant that helps fight ageing or future signs of ageing as well as protection from the city's bad pollution. The smell of the product isn't so bad either, it has that natural garden/tea smell to it which is just the natural smell of the ingredients itself as opposed to an added fragrance.

Overally, I do like it because it lathers pretty well for a gentle face wash, and leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized. I would highly recommended this face wash for a person who has dry skin as I believe they would love the almost instant benefits of moisturization! The price point is also very good for only $21. Now, for a person who'll buy facewash for under $10, you'd probably think that's a little pricey, but I'd say it's worth it and you'll notice a huge difference (as I use "cheaper" face washes too). Also, just to clarify, since I'm a guy, this product is just as unisex as any other prodcut out there, so don't feel afraid to look into this if you're a guy.

With that said, do I see a big difference first-handed in using something natural as opposed to something "unnatural"? Not really, I do believe it's more of a persons preference. I've heard so many stories from so many people working from so many skincare companies that I feel like I have to come to the conclusion myself of what's right or wrong for my skin. So many organic/natural lines will have the "paraben/preservative free" mark on their product and people don't even know why it would be considered a benefit (it really makes no difference for most people). So do what I do, and self-evaluate your skin and find what best works for you via trial and error.

...Like it's the Last

This year has been a hard life-changing event for serveral people in my life.

One of them, a dear friend of mine had her home (in a apartment complex) burned down just recently. To her and I, this type of thing is just so unreal. We shortly discussed our similar experiences, like the second time my house got burglarized and a majority of my personal belongings got stolen; luckily for me, I got everything back because they got caught. That's as far as I can relate to in losing ones things, but for my friend, she lost everything she owned. Things that were going to define her as a person; getting a home, her clothes, and items that relate to her career, all gone.

She wasn't at home at the time when the house was burning, however, her boyfriend was. Thankfully he alongside everyone that was at the scene got outside to safety. According to the fireman and her boyfriend, if he had stayed in the apartment for a few seconds more, he would've been gone.

I'm just thankful that they're both alive and physically well.

Looking at her situation, there's a few pre-cautions that I'd like to take, however I'd rather not live life in fear. You'll never know what tomorrow may bring so the best thing to do is life life to the fullest, almost as if it's your last!

Give all your friends respect, acknowledgement, and your love.

Maison Murasaki Fashion Show 2012-2013

So this passed monday I attended the fashion show for Maison Murasaki's Fall-Winter lineup at the Yotel in NYC!

It definitely was a great experience to be there for the lines debut stage. The creator of the line, Maki J Obara definitely has a eye for creativity blending in various styles!

2NE1 @ MTV's IGGY - BEST NEW BAND 2011

Mobile photo by Natasha Arbelo

So, let me start off saying that 2NE1 is one of my current favorite groups out there right now and they just won from worldwide votes to be IGGY's Best New Band for 2011!

With that said, I had the really great opportunity to see them perform live at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square! I had a really awesome time! I was jumping and pumping to the beats! Aside from waiting in line for almost three hours, it felt totally worth it and it will literally prepare me for more concerts to come from my favorite musical artists (Next up: L'arc~en~Ciel!). The unfortunate side was that I didn't bring my camera nor was my iPhone's camera working for that moment. Oh well, I'm just glad I enjoyed the experience and wasn't busying myself with taking a video of all the performances!

Anyway, I went with my friend Natasha Arbelo from High School, we haven't seen each other in literally 6 or 7 years and K-POP had brought us together and we had a lot to talk about because we both love the cosmetic industry a lot!

Anyway, I just wanted to write a quick blog! Be sure to check out my YouTube page for this months contest! I'm doing a MAC Cosmetics giveaway, check it out!

Getting a new Mac Mini!

CONTEST #001 / NOVEMBER 2011 / Hello Kitty Noir Eyeshadow Palette Giveaway! supplemental

Well, I've had my official YouTube page since September 2011, and within the span of two months I grew from 7 subscribers to 87 and counting! I'm double excited. Most of them were found from the contest I'm currently hosting this month which is one of the main reasons why my "fanbase" is growing stronger. Despite the fact that I think I may or may not reach my goal of having 1,000 views on this contest video, I will still declare a winner at the end of this month! I'd say that this video was still a success and I will hold a contest monthly from now on, with these items I personally buy from my own budget! Hey, it takes money to make money (well, in this particular case, views). I'd also like to thank Miss Hello Kitty for spiking up my views, I mean, come on, who doesn't like Hello Kitty?... well, aside from that hellokittyhell blogger!

Anyway, I also just ordered my MacMini online just moments ago. With ThanksGiving and Black Friday occuring this week, I shall be receiving it this Saturday hopefully because I ordered it with the next-day shipping. I ordered the Mac Mini with the Lion Server, which was the more expensive one which had double the drives, which basically just means a faster computer, and which in turn leads me to make and edit videos even faster because my camera outputs videos in MOV. files which my Sony Vaio computer from the early 2000's can't handle that well.

So guys, look forward to bigger and better videos!
